WooCommerce Blocks 5.8.0 Release Notes

The latest version of WooCommerce blocks is out. With it comes the new block Filters by Stock. When used with the All Products block, it allows you to give customers the ability to filter the visible products by the stock status for the product. In addition a fix has been made for the Product Category block that removed the extra lines that were appearing when used on the shop page. There were also a couple of enhancements and bug fixes as well.

Peek into the WooCommerce Blocks Roadmap

Developer Advisory: Requirements Change for Action Scheduler

Included in an upcoming release of the Action Scheduler, there are plans to raise the minimum WordPress requirements to 5.2 and PHP requirements to 5.6. In this post they share how it will affect you and the actions you should take.

An Update on the Classic Editor Plugin

After some discussion, the support of the classic editor plugin will continue through 2022.

WordPress 5.8.1 RC 1

WordPress 5.8.1 RC 1 was released and is ready for testing. The final release is scheduled for Wednesday, September 8th.
