Do the Woo news is updates on WooCommerce Core, WordPress core, and a few Woo odds and ends.
A Light News Week
This week was light for news in WooCommerce core and in the general Woo ecosystem.
In WordPress core, WordPress 5.8.1, a security and maintenance release came out. It included 3 security issues and 60 bug fixes.
Aside from that, I thought I would take the opportunity to share a couple bits on news on the Do the Woo front.
Do the Woo Twitter Account
After a year, I have changed the @bobwp twitter handle to @dothewoo. For are several reasons behind this change, but to avoid extending this anymore than I need to, I would suggest you check out the post on here. But in a nutshell, if you want to keep on top of Woo, the builder community and WordPress follow @DotheWoo. And yes, I did restart the BobWP twitter handle and will be likely focusing more on podcasting there and a few odds and ends. So check that out if it interests you.
The Big Rebrand and Rebuild of Do the Woo
You have likely heard me dropping hints on this as we are in the middle of a huge rebrand and rebuild of Do the Woo. It’s pretty exciting for me as it really is the first time I have worked with a high-end agency to redo one of my own sites. Without giving anything away, you can expect to hear more when we launch sometime in the first part of October. So stay tuned.
