There may come a time when you want to add shop products to the Google Merchant Center as another source to increase your clients sales. With WP All Import you can do this without the hassle.
Creating Your WooCommerce Products Export
First you will need to create a new export in WP All Export and select WooCommerce Products from the drop down menu.
You can filter this export by category or attribute for example. For example I could choose the clothing category.
Once you have clicked Customize Export File to continue, under Export Type choose Google Merchant Center Product Feed.
Basic Product Information
This is where you will now map the title, description, link, main image link, additional image link, item ID, item condition, and mobile link. For most fields WP All Export is able to auto-generate data for you (like for item ID), or pull the data from WooCommerce, but it’s also possible to drag in export elements to customize it
For fields that require specific values, WP All Import gives you an easy data mapping tool. No need to manually update/add values in your products.
Availability and Price
In this section we’ll select the price, sale price, and availability (stock). You can use WooCommerce values or map export elements using the “Custom data” option. Optionally increase/decrease prices by a percentage or set amount with our “Adjust Prices” tool.
In the Advanced Options section you can set the currency, availability date, and sale price effective date.
Next we choose the product type, which WP All Export can auto-detect from WooCommerce, and map our Product Categories to Google Categories.
WP All Export has a mapping tool that lets you visualize your categories and easily find the Google categories you want to assign them to. You can click through the category to find them.
Of course you can search for them as well.
Here you can drag and drop in the GTIN, MPN and Brand identifiers if you have them. WP All Export will automatically let Google know that you don’t have any if you don’t put anything in these fields.
Detailed Product Attributes and Item Grouping
With the Item Group ID: if you’re exporting variable products, WP All Export can automatically set the item group ID so that variants are grouped together properly. For Color, Size, and Gender you can leave blank, use the value from a WooCommerce Attribute, or use custom data.
In the Advanced Options section you can choose the size type, size system, age group, material, and pattern.
If you want to override the default shipping price that’s set up in your Google Merchant account, you can choose the Shipping Price via export elements and optionally adjust it by % or set amount. Choose the Length, Width, Height, and optionally the Shipping Weight and Shipping Label.
In this section you can export the product type information by choosing a Multipack value (if you’re selling packs) and telling Google if your product is for Adults.
For Adwords and Shopping Campaigns you can set the Adwords Redirect URL and custom labels.
If your products rely on unit pricing, you can export the Unit Pricing Measure and Unit Pricing Base Measure.
Under Additional Attributes you can export the Expiration Date, Energy Efficiency Class and Promotion ID.
On the final step you can choose an automatic schedule to make WP All Export keep the product feed up-to-date. You can choose specific days, every day, and add as many scheduled updates as you’d like.
Now, we can run the export.
