Emptive has created a plugin allowing store owners to capture lost leads and generate new income for out-of-stock products.
It adds a request stock notification button to out of stock products that lets your shoppers choose to receive alerts by text message or email. When an item becomes available again, the customer will automatically receive a notification and link to purchase.
If your item remains out of stock for an extended period of time or you have a similar in stock product to offer you can use their dashboard to create automated messages that suggest an alternative product while they wait for the other product to become available.
This cloud application gives them an opportunity to add new features and expand their services without putting a strain on your store’s server.
